I would guess that Xcode is installed into a folder that has a space
in the name. If so, you can work around this by moving it with
something like:
'sudo mv /My\ Xcode\ Install /MyXcodeInstall'
followed by
'sudo xcode-select -switch /MyXcodeInstall'

I've seen many reports that changing the time zone to Cupertino
