Bashing the messenger is ignorant and counter-productive. I mean, seriously, what do you expect to accomplish with a message like that?

I was really impressed that Chris took the time to post so much detail here about the 3.1 release. That's something that should be applauded and encouraged in the future, not rewarded with a whiney post about a potential bug.
