Hi, just a quick question (sorry if its been asked before),
Does xgrid have a job cap?
Here is my situation: I created a custom xgrid plug-in which runs a
script and takes 8
parameters. I set each parameter to take a range of three number...
thus there were 3^
8 = 6561 jobs. However, after I pressed submit, nothing. No error
message, no
notification message, nothing. When I ran [xgrid -h "hostname" -job
list ] there were no
jobs listed.
Does xgrid not allow that many jobs?
Its important to note that I have a rather hefty working directory,
although as I
understand it, when xgrid starts a job it copies the working directory
to each agent and
just works from there, thus only copying the working directory once.
Although I'm not
sure about this.
Any help would be greatly apprectiated, thanks.
