Hi, just a quick question (sorry if its been asked before),
Does xgrid have a job cap?
Here is my situation: I created a custom xgrid plug-in which runs a script and takes 8
parameters. I set each parameter to take a range of three number... thus there were 3^
8 = 6561 jobs. However, after I pressed submit, nothing. No error message, no
notification message, nothing. When I ran [xgrid -h "hostname" -job list ] there were no
jobs listed.
Does xgrid not allow that many jobs?
Its important to note that I have a rather hefty working directory, although as I
understand it, when xgrid starts a job it copies the working directory to each agent and
just works from there, thus only copying the working directory once. Although I'm not
sure about this.
