I've been running command line xgrid embedded within a
script. The script attempts to make 4 job submissions
to xgrid. The problem I've encountered is that if I
run the script from the computer that is set up as the
xgrid controller, then it often hangs on the second
submit, and sometimes on the first submit (it never
completes all 4). I can run the script from any other
computer with xgrid installed, and there is no
problem, only when I try to run it from the
controller. If I run the xgrid command directly
(xgrid -h ... -p ... -job submit ...) on the
controller, then there is no problem. The problem
only exists when the call to xgrid is embedded within
a script, and I'm attempting to run that script from
the controller. Anyone have any ideas why? Thanks, Alex
