That primarily depends on who owns the copyright for those images. In general, you should not reproduce images without permission from the copyright owner. That is, the actual image file is copyrighted, not the product that is being displayed. On the other hand, I am sure it wouldn't be that hard to find a PowerBook image with appropriate permissions.


Whether Apple likes or dislikes a particular way products are displayed is mostly irrelevant when it comes to personal websites, though anything done for commercial marketing purposes might be a different matter.
