i am having some problems with mac os x server 10.4.6 and active
directory integration that i cannot resolve. i would like to
reinstall the os (archive and install, or reformat: have not decided
as yet) and start fresh or close to fresh.
i have xsan 1.2 installed on mac os x server 10.4.6 running on an
xserve. it is the meta data controller and a single volume is mounted
on the xserve. it is connected to xserve raid via a qlogic switch.
the volume is re-shared via afp, and smb.
is there a recommended sequence of steps and things i need to backup
to ensure i can mount the volume after i the reinstall the os. there
is no backup controller.
