Hardware Requirements

Xserve or Xserve G5
Power Mac G5 (any)
Macintosh computer with an Intel Processor
Power Mac G4 (dual 800 MHz or faster

Xsan 1.1 or later is required in order to install Xsan 1.4.

So G4 support is still there....
