They're all independent connections aren't they? It should be OK to
hook a 4 channel card or a 2 channel card to 4 or 2 different SANs or
RAIDs.

Hi folks,
Little issue. I have a Apple Quad G5 with all PCIe slots (4)
filled up.
2 are in use with a necessary video card
1 is in use with the AJA Kona 3
1 is in use with the Apple Fibre HBA
The problem is we just bought a Huge System storage unit for direct
attach and it is also fibre, dual channel (Huge 4210). We also
bought an ATTO Dual 4gig Fibre Channel card to go with it. Problem
is, there is no room for it in the computer. So, ATTO makes a 4
channel card that could attach to the Huge Storage and to the Apple
XSAN storage. Does this raise in red flags, functionally? Would
it work? Does it reduce bandwidth?
