Now when I go to Setup -> Computers in Xsan Admin I can see the
address of several Macs that have Xsan installed, however these
addresses are the public IPs/DNS names of the Macs I want to add
even though I set the Primary MDC to use the private "Built-in
Ethernet 2" port for the accessing the SAN.
Should I be concerned? I expected to see the private IPs of these
Macs (via Bonjour?)
Don't worry about it. This is somewhat of a side-effect of how
Bonjour works. Your Xsan clients will still communicate with the MDC
using the private Ethernet network.
