Thanks, Fraser. I've poured through my code as well and have come to the same conclusion. I do not see these errors when testing against the 2.0 Trial on 10.5.2.

Under 10.5, NSLocks that are unlocked when not locked will print this
error.  I quadruple-checked my code and came to the conclusion that it
was Aperture 1.5.6 that was doing it.

I don't see the same logs with Aperture 2 on Leopard.
