My Edit plugin takes images in Portrait configuration (3872 x 2592, Orientation = 6) and want to output a similar image. Although the entire image properties are copied from the source image in CGImageDestinationAddImage, inspecting that image from Aperture reveals that it has an Orientation of 1 (other keys seem OK), leading my output image to be incorrectly displayed as Landscape and requiring the user to rotate it.
Does Aperture reset Orientation key (kCGImagePropertyOrientation) of new added versions? What can do to preserve Orientation from input files ?
