Re: building securityd

Which version of DarwinBuild are you using? Are you building on an HFS disk? If so, is volfs getting mounted inside the BuildRoot? You should see the following lines printed by darwinbuild:

*** Mounting special filesystems ...
Mounting devfs ...
Mounting volfs ...

If you could reply with the build output, that will help diagnosing the problem.

Still the same error: securityd-25991 does not contain an Xcode project.

My Xcode version is 2.2. the build still doesn't work and try to look

I forgot to mention that you will need to force darwinbuild to re- load
the newer xcodebuild into the BuildRoot directory. You can do this by
removing the following file before building securityd:

# rm BuildRoot/usr/local/darwinbuild/receipts/xcodebuild
# darwinbuild securityd
