Re: Help Segments

Hi, Greg --

The whole contents of the file will be shown, not just the segmented
portion, but if you've also provided an Anchor tag w/in the segment,
the Help Viewer should scroll the page so that the selected segment is
at the top. (Or as near to the top as can be achieved given the overall
length of the page.)

Some background on segments for the benefit of those who haven't tried
them:
Segments are intended to improve searching of long content pages.
Normally, Help Viewer will display only the title of the page in the
search results. If the page is very long and covers many topics, the
title of the page might not seem very relevant to the user and cause
them to discard (ignore) the result as invalid. By using segments, you
can effectively cause the page to show up with titles for each of its
sections. They're not often used, but can be invaluable when converting
a long web page-style document to Help.

Best Regards,
