Jonathan,

One example of a problem is if your application is not frontmost, and someone clicks its icon in the dock, then it will be sent a reopen command. Unless you override the defauilt behavior for this, and all other "core" events, I suspect you could get a conflict. Forcing the error may be difficult to do.
