Newbie Question

Can someone point me to some information about tables?

It's now 1:20am (in the UK) which means I've spent the last 9 hours trying to get a list

{{pName:"Test",pValue:"Test"},{pName:"Test2"},{pValue:"Test2"}}

to appear in a scrolling window. I've looked at all the examples on the developer CD and I'm not getting any clues as to why it works in the demos but not for me.

If someone could point me to some step-by-step instructions for doing this - the demos show me it works, but not how I do it for myself - I'd be very grateful. Maybe I can work out what I'm missing. As far as I can tell, the scroll list has to have the same name as a variable declared as a property; there's no outllets defined in the demos.
