Problem with NSTextFields

Hello,

I am having a problem with the NSTextField components on a project I am
working on at the moment - and was hoping someone could tell me where I am
going wrong!

The problem is this:

When tabbing into a NSTextField you can start typing but sometimes the
interface doesn't update until the application is backgrounded and then
brought to the front again (for example clicking on the Desktop and then
back into the app). It is odd because I don't recall having this problem
before.

All the text fields in the project are only linked to the "end editing"
handler in the script, none are linked to the "changed" handler - so
according to me, my script should be doing nothing until the user clicks
or tabs out of the text field.

The only thing I can think of that are not that standard in my project
are:

a) I am typically maintaining a very large AppleScript record* as a global
variable.

b) The script relies on the XMLTools OSAX from Late Night Software.

* I've just tested with a much shorter record and I still have the
problem... so perhaps that is not a possible culprit.

Anyway - anyone got any ideas?

Thanks
