In both Xcode and Project Builder, you need to make sure the debugger is set to use gcc not the AppleScript debugger. You do this by editing the current executable settings. You can do this by double clicking on the executable in the project window and then look for the Launch Configuration section. In there should be a popup that will allow you to configure which debugger to use.

I have a custom class that I want to call from AS and I am having a
hideous time getting it to run.

I have a break point set inside of my custom class and just before the
call method. I am using XCode on Panther. I don't see an error
message in the console log. It doesn't seem to be going into my code.

Any suggestions to find what is wrong?
