Re: reset safari (Modified by Jeff Porten)

I was aware of this way of doing it, unfortunately I cannot do it this way. I was hoping there was another way. Possible editing the MainMenu.nib file and adding a button, then attaching it to the confirmResetSafari: action?

You know, this brings to mind a question I've had for a while. I know you can "call method" for your own objects (objects in your project). Is there any way (in AppleScript or in Cocoa) to call methods of other processes? For example, would Rhon be able to accomplish the above without editing the Safari NIB, calling Safari's "confirmResetSafari:" method from his own application?

If this *is* possible, it would solve a lot of trouble for me. I've been wanting to "patch" Safari to put the bookmarks menu into its Dock menu. If I were able to call methods of Safari from another process, I could just call its methods to set the Dock menu...

Anyway, if anyone knows anything about this, it would be greatly appreciated.
