I used the rtlabs framework in one project, which worked for me with mysql,
but due to some trouble with the integration as a private framework, a final
version was never released and I haven't heard anything since a couple of

the guys from macosguru seem to have crashed into the same car, since they
announced a scriptable odbc version, but it never came out. what they have
is jdbc based, but I never tried it and its cocoa classes, not AppleScript,
afaik.
