circular progress indicator

Hi. I've been having a problem getting a circular indeterminate progress indicator to appear properly in an AS studio application. When I add it to my window in the Interface Builder, it looks fine and even looks normal when I choose the "Test Interface" option. However, when I actually run the program the circular indicator always appears as a bar.

I looked online and noticed something that said, "Starting with the version of Interface Builder released with Mac OS X version 10.2, you can use the circular indeterminate progress indicator." Sadly, I don't even know how to determine what version of Interface Builder I should have with OS X 10.2 and I don't even know how to figure out what version of AS studio I have. I do know that I am using OS X 10.2.8, Interface Builder 2.3.2, and Project Builder 2.1.

If my version of Interface Builder is new enough that it should work, what could I be doing wrong? If it is not new enough, where can I get the proper version? I could only see mention of Xcode currently on the web, but I'm currently stuck in OS X 10.2 until I can afford to fix my broken CD drive :(

Thanks.

Dave H.
