Try the following for item 1...

on clicked theObject
if the name of theObject is equal to "enableAllButton" then
set enabled of every button of box "trackPropertiesBox" of window
"mainWin" to true
else if the name of theObject is equal to "disableAllButton" then
set enabled of every button of box "trackPropertiesBox" of window
"mainWin" to false
end if
end clicked

I didn9t test this on a group of objects, but it9s what I use to
enable/disable checkboxes in my app.


For number 3, this is what I use...

on choose menu item theObject
set theMenuSelection to title of theObject
log "Menu selection: " & theMenuSelection
end choose menu item


I9ll see what I can figure out about #2.
