Inserting a data row into a table view

Hi all,

About two years ago Tim Bumgarner wrote:
'One of the parameters to 'make new' is the positional parameter 'at' which is usually used with a value of 'end of', but you should be able to use something like 'before data item 2', or if you wanted it at the beginning simply 'beginning of'. Try experimenting with this and see if that does the trick.'
Did anybody succeeded doing something like that.

I want to insert data rows at a specific point into the table, but haven't found any way to this.
Any ideas or help is very welcome.
