Automating Events using Apple Scripts

Hi All

I am new member of the group.
Actually I have created some scripts for automating events but the problem I
am getting is that click at some location is not working for e.g. if I write
click at {x,y} where x and y are some points on the screen where there is a
button but when I run the script button does not get clicked.
Can anybody help me in this regard.
