Contextual menu

Title: Contextual menu
Hi all,

In searching the list here, I’ve found this question asked 3 times, yet no one has given a reply.  I wish to provide context-sensitive contextual menus — in each of the four table views in the main window of my app, I would like to attach a different menu.

I can make a working contextual menu that is a copy of my main menu, by connecting the main menu of my app to a table view, within Interface Builder.  However, when I try to create a brand new menu, connect that to the table view, and then run my app, I can see the new menu but when I try to select a menu item I get “NSReceiverEvaluationScriptError: 3 (1).”  

At first I thought it was because I had copied and pasted an item that had the same keyboard shortcut, but I have cleared all the keyboard shortcuts and made sure all of the Applescript names are unique.

Any ideas?  From the lack of mention in the ASS documentation and the lack of response on this forum should I be thinking this is not possible?
