print a window

does any one know how to use a call method to make a printable view of a window?

I can print a single object in the window not all of them with the window. I know the system has a printable view or a routine to make a printable view, just not clear as to how to do it or where to locate the information.

I know I can grab the screen and print that but it is not really what i want as it grabs the whole screen.

any ideas?
