Suppose i have two times on the same date; february 1, 2007 06:30:00 PM and february 1, 2007 10:30:00 PM;
I want to subtract 6:30 PM from 10:30 pm.

It's ambiguous in "Applescript: the definitive guide" how to do this. I need to determine the time between two times in order to determine if an event starting at one time will overlap and event starting at another.

Is there a tutorial anywhere about this sort of thing? I looked on macscripter, and there isn't one there. Alas, the date calculations osax is classic only.
