Re: set hidden of button?

Jeremy,

Here just some simple one which works fine here:

property buttonState : true

on clicked theObject
if name of theObject = "onoff" then
set buttonState to not buttonState
set visible of button "myButton" of window of theObject to buttonState

else if name of theObject = "myButton" then
beep 2
end if
end clicked

Andreas

Andreas,

Doesn't work...but I may be missing some code...will try again later.
the same syntax using "enable" does work...so I'll have to check it out.

I would like to get more into Cocoa....working on some basic education there.
Any resources you can point me for Cocoa Bindings?

Thanks,
jeremy

I think it should be:
set visible of button "myButton" to false

P.S.
You can do a lot with Cocoa bindings when you want enable, hide, fill
? interface objects.
