Text interpretation/reading question

Hi all,

I got some trouble when reading some binary files and extract the text part out of it.

The text which I want to retrieve for example should be (broke the text to fit the binary):
Você confie naq
uele satélite|d
e um bilhão de
dólares.

It is stored as:
56 6F 63 C3 65 20 63 6F 6E 66 69 65 20 6E 61 71
75 65 6C 65 20 73 61 74 C2 65 6C 69 74 65 8A 64
65 20 75 6D 20 62 69 6C 68 C4 61 6F 20 64 65 20
64 C2 6F 6C 61 72 65 73 2E

Letters like "ê",  "é", "ã", "ó" are stored as two byte, the others are not. So it's no Unicode nor standard ascii.

In any case I always get:
Voc√e confie naquele sat¬elite|de um bilhƒao de d¬olares.

"8A" is a linefeed which I replaced with a "|" (option-7)

There must be an easy and quick way to handle but I don't find it?
Any ideas?

Thanks
Andreas
