Re: display alert error in leopard

I figured out what is happening:

The app is not crashing, but rather, the second alert window shows up BEHIND the front most window. In Panther, alert windows would always show up in front of any open windows (regardless of their modal state, etc.).

Is this a bug? Or is there some way to force "display alert" windows to come to the front in Leopard?

Thanks,

John Mistler

I just upgraded to 10.5.2 from 10.3.9. My app is crashing when I attempt to issue two "display alert" commands in succession. It crashes on the second "display alert". Retesting it on 10.3.9 works fine.

Has anyone encountered this, or know why this might be happening?

Thanks,
