I fixed it. But I am starting to wonder about the "clean" and
"clean all" actions. What exactly do they do, what purpose do they
serve and when why
should I use them (sorry for the repetition :D)?
This was just discussed on the Xcode list last week so there should be
a few posts in the archives. I use Clean All a lot in projects that
have shell build script phases that alter project files, and I always
Clean All, quit Xcode, remove everything in the Intermediates folder,
and then rebuild the project from scratch before sending off a release
version.
