Re: Searching for RGB images in a Quark doc

Thanks for that Gary!

All images are external files that should reside wholly in one folder, "Images", in our job folders. However I can't guarantee that the designer has done what they were supposed to and has placed all images in there. Also sometimes logos are referenced from our Server so there's another location again.

What I really need is for XPress to provide a variable value of all linked files (like what the Picture Usage pallette does) then to be able to search the properties of each of these files for the RGB color space.

I'm trying a few things but I'm not too familiar with the syntax for XPress or how to translate it over from the dictionary to something useable.

Cheers,

Coj (who's bleary eyed but ecstatic that Australia beat Croatia in the World Cup early this morning)

Do the images live inside Quark, or in the file system (and are referenced
by Quark)?

If Quark doesn't provide for such a task, then since we're on the subject of
'sips', you can use that tool and/or Image Events.
