That's a good point, but can you think if any examples of where that could actually happen? Sheets usually only show up if the user issues a command. This is especially true of "Save/Don't Save". Unsolicited alerts that might appear during normal typing are generally regular dialogs.

If this is a real concern, I'm certain it could be addressed on a case-by-case basis. In the case of "Save/Don't Save", I think it should almost always be safe to allow unmodified keys.

In any case, if accepting unmodified keys doesn't seem like a good idea, at least accepting Command-modified keys when a sheet is active would be useful. They would just have to override any menu command with the same key. At the very least, "Save/Don't Save" seems to come up often enough that supporting them there would probably be a Good Thing.
