won't load any additions and folder icons are all "generic file" icons.
Even repaired permissions, but no go.
Is there a way to force ScriptingAdditions folder contents to load at
startup? Maybe a prefs file to delete? Corrupt file?

Which Mac OS are you running on that machine? It would seem that the latest Satimage osax requires 10.2.6 or higher.
