I want to a UNIX command from my Applescript. The command takes several_______________________________________________
minutes to execute and wants as much
CPU as MAC OS X will allow it. The problem is that when I run the do
shell script I get an AppleEvent timeout plus the Finder is frozen. I
get the Spinning wheel in the Finder and I can not quit it until the
UNIX command completes.
The following snapshot shows the Error box as well as part of my
Applescript code
