Re: Mounting and Dismounting local or server volumes on Tiger

Question 1:
tell app "Finder"
    eject "G3400-X"
end tell

-- or --

do shell script "umount -f /Volumes/G3400-X"

On Tiger, AS code to mount a volume located on a local server, can be :

tell application "Finder"
if not (exists disk "G3400-X") then
mount volume "afp://PB-G3400.local/G3400-X/" as user name "Jacques" with password "abcdefg"
--mount volume "afp://jacques:email@hidden/G3400-X/"
end if
end tell

•1• What is the correct code for dismounting it ?

•2• What is the correct code to mount a secondary local disk or a partition of the startup disk when it has been dismounted ?

•3• What does prevent "Disk Utility" to be scriptable ?

Thanks for your help and/or any comments.
