No, that is not what 'location reference' means. Take a look at 'make' in
any other application, for example, Address Book or iCal: it says exactly
the same thing  'at - location reference', and those apps don't deal with
paths, aliases or folders. It's natural to understand it that way for the
Finder and System Events, but that's not actually what it means. It's
referring to a location in a collection of elements.
