Can AppleScript handle DFS-path?

Hi

I am using Admitmac to mount a Win 2003 dfs-share. My problem is that AS
does'nt seem to recognize the dfs-path.
If I drag the file into a Terminal window the path looks like this:
/Volumes/Datalager-1/Dokument/06\ Ledning\ och\ sto\314\210dverksamhet/07\
Kommunikation/40\ Sirenen/Tidningen/Grafik/myfile.indd
If I do a choose file or use as POSIX file AS strips off
"/Volumes/Datalager-1" and InDesign can't open the file.
Is there any work around?
