I found that the last colon was too much. When I remove it it works. It´s funny that it works on you Mac.

Hi everybody, I got stuck with a problem which seems quite simple.
set thePath to POSIX path of "MacOSX:Users:ronny:Desktop:Logs:"
I´ve used similar conversations many times without any problems.
But today the result of thePath remains "MacOSX:Users:ronny:Desktop:Logs:".
What is wrong here? Any hints
Regards, Ronald
Works just fine here -
set thePath to POSIX path of "MacOSX:Users:ronny:Desktop:Logs:" log thePath --> (*/MacOSX/Users/ronny/Desktop/Logs/*)
If it isn't working for you I'd say you've other issues not related to Applescript syntax causing it.
