The whole purpose of this string was to see if a "do shell" was
available to do this.
Leopard has a command line tool "afplay" that can play sound files.
It can play AIFF, MP3 and I'm-not-sure-how-many-other formats.
do shell script "afplay /path/to/some/file.aiff"
