ScriptingBridge: Isn't this just another avenue to Apple Events, but

Yes, but there's also the option to "drop" to Accessibility calls.
GUI scripting (look at the System Events dictionary Processes Suite)
is based on the Accessibility interfaces. Another alternative is to
use ScriptingBridge <http://developer.apple.com/mac/library/documentation/Cocoa/Conceptual/ScriptingBridgeConcepts/
