RE: User space interface to controller.

The existing methods use 8K reads and writes.

The interface needs to support methods that read and write large
quantities of data and provide notifications.

Can you quantify "large quantities"? Are you talking about the size of a VM page (4k) or larger?

  It sounds like I need to write a user client interface.  What source code do you recommend I use
as an example?
