I am trying to load the SCSI_HBA_Emulator example code from DTS on 10.5. The disk is put in read-only mode when the kext is loaded. What changes need to be made to the code to make the RAM disk writable? (I believe that under 10.4 the example, the disk was writable by default.) Here's a transcript of the diskutil info command: diskutil info /dev/disk3 Device Identifier: disk3 Device Node: /dev/disk3 Part Of Whole: disk3 Device / Media Name: AppleDTS SCSI Emulator Media Volume Name: Mount Point: Partition Type: Bootable: Not bootable Media Type: Generic Protocol: Disk Image SMART Status: Not Supported Total Size: 20.0 Mi (20971520 B) (40960 512-byte blocks) Free Space: 0.0 B (0 B) (0 512-byte blocks) Read Only: Yes Ejectable: Yes Whole: Yes Internal: No OS 9 Drivers: No Low Level Format: Not Supported Thanks, Anton _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
