Fw: AUGD: Suggestions for Virtual Presenters for User Groups?

 

HMAUS (Hawaii Macintosh & Apple Users' Society) had a successful
presentation by Joe Kissel from Paris, France at our Mactoberfest in
Honolulu last year.  One thing that we learned is that we should remember to
record the presentation (with the presenter's permission, of course) for
future use and possible posting on our website.  If we all did this, we
could create quite a collection of materials for use at our group functions
and for use by other groups.

For that matter, if one of our groups is fortunate enough to have one of the
great presenters live, we might also offer to have a couple of other groups
participate via iChat in our live presentations where the timing is feasible
given our different locations and time zones.  If we had thought of it, we might have been able to include other Hawaii groups on the neighbor islands.
