RE: where is dnssd.lib (for Windows)?

 Hi Tom,

If you install Bonjour SDK you get the following files:
          1) dns_sd.h
          2) dnssd.lib

          HTH

Regards,
Kiran

Hi, Tom. Sorry, the documentation in the tarball is scant to non-
existent on this point. The part of dns-sd.c you're referring to is a
set of simple instructions for building the dns-sd tool without fooling
around with makefiles. But it does assume that the build environment has
been set up.

On the Mac, it already is. On Windows, you need to build the VC 7
project in mDNSWindows\DLL\ to do so. And on POSIX systems you need to
make the makefile and place dns_sd.so somewhere prominent (such as
/usr/lib).

Hope this helps.
