As far as I know, the draft does not say anything
about the frequence at which the DNS-SD services
should be queried. What could be the ideal approach?
Should the querying rate be different when done
through uDNS & mDNS?
The mDNS draft documents the query rate. See Section 6. "Querying".
For uDNS, if you don't implement LLQs, then you could use a similar
approach to mDNS, except make the interval between the first and
second queries longer, like maybe 16 seconds.
