I too would be very interested in using Bonjour from Visual Basic 6, alot of our in-house apps are VB6 and adding functions to automatically locate servers and the like would be very useful.

Is it possible to use bonjour from Visual Basic 6.0 code? Most things
seem doable but I don't really know how to handle the callback
parameter.

This sample ought to work, I think, but it crashes as soon as I handle the events. Setting the callback address reports 'memory from location 0 could not be read', if I set the callback to addressof browseCB it reports 'memory from <somelocation> could not be read'.

Will there ever be an activex interface to all this? Or a documented
way to access this from non-C?

Apologies if posting attachments to this group is against policy. The
zip file was renamed to .zp or gmail wouldn't allow me to send the vbp
project :<

Thanks,
Emile
