I'm trying to get this installed on Solaris using Sun Studio 12 as my
compiler instead of gcc (I've just started and haven't gotten frustrated
enough to just use gcc yet) and I'm running into this issue:
"../mDNSCore/DNSCommon.c", line 1079: a cast does not yield an lvalue
Studio *really* doesn't like this line:
(mDNSu8 *)opt = rr->rdata->u.data + nput;
Does the post about having issues on non-x86 platforms and this practice
still hold water? If not, this is at least a stumbling block for getting
this all working without gcc.
Thoughts as to an acceptable solution?
