I have a query about the relationship between mDNS
and DNS-SD in the current implementations.
It seems to me that the current implementations sit
on top of the mDNS responder. If I understand
correctly, the library functions provided leverage
this and have not been designed to query DNS
servers to obtain a list of static service provided.
by a domain.
I simply want to query the records in a DNS domain
to determine what services are available, and build
tools based on this.
Using the existing libraries, is it possible to do
this, or have they all been designed in the context
of mDNS?
