for some experimental code, I have setup a ruby xml-rpc server with
bonjour. The service is located at "http://localhost:8080/sample". The
service can be discovered by my app, so far, so good.
But when I want to send an http request to the Bonjour host name or
the IP (in the 172.x.x.x range), I get an error -1003, "Can't find
host". (This of course works if I use the "localhost" address or IP).
Do I have to perform special steps to talk to a service on localhost?
Thanks
Alex
